Suzie Deutsch

Prior to qualifying in fitness training Suzie was manager of a successful medical practice as well as looking after her 4 sons. Her first qualifications are in optics and she was an Optometrist in Bath and Birmingham before moving to Hereford with her family.

Becoming a gym instructor was a life’s ambition Suzie thought she would never realise as the time and enjoyment of raising her family led to lack of time to devote to her own health and fitness. As her sons became successful rowers she found she wanted to jog along the bank shouting encouragement. This meant losing 5 stone and getting fit.

Suzie achieved this weight loss on the Altered Images Programme. In addition, she achieved an incredible personal transformation and lifestyle change, with reduced blood pressure, reduced body fat, superior body tone, increased energy, improved self-confidence and heightened self-esteem. Commenting on her own journey she says 'during the process you build muscle, you burn fat, you have fun and most of all you continually improve your health along the way and that is the best part because you cannot put a price on health'.

Whilst the effectiveness of scientific training, super nutrition and a positive attitude were fundamental, Suzie sees the relationship you build with each other as key to achieving your health and fitness goals. Indeed this has been key to the development of a social support network at Altered Images.

Suzie has channelled her new found energy into gaining the necessary qualifications in personal training and obtaining valuable experience working in Hereford’s premier leisure club.

Altered Images clients now benefit from Suzie's passion for working one to one and all that stems from having done it herself!

As if that were not enough Suzie now enjoys cycling, and has just competed in her first triathlon, training for which meant regular sessions competing against, and sometimes beating, her boys. Currently Suzie holds 49th position overall on the Wattbike's National Register for a 30 minute Time Trial, finishing as 3rd fastest Female and fastest Age Group Female.
