After having 5 children and the baby's 1st birthday fast approaching (so to me my excuse "I've just had a baby" was due to expire), I decided to start my journey to find and develop my 'forever body'.

After browsing through many websites, I stumbled upon the Altered Images website. This is where I feel that I first 'met' Adrian and Suzie - as their spirit is in the content on their website. I didn't hesitate in calling them up and meeting them in person.

They were welcoming and listened to me. I am grateful that they were happy to assist me on my journey.

The Altered Images programme is a fantastic and unique experience. It really makes you look at yourself from inside and out. I loved the challenges. I'm not saying it wasn't hard at times but when I worked through exercises and got my mind in a focused place, I felt elevated; there was a shift within me. 

I lost a lot of weight (from my body and my mind) after completing the Altered Images programme and I decided to carry on having personal training sessions with Adrian.

I love Adrian as a personal trainer, he is encouraging and motivating. And im sure that anyone that knows him, knows that he is a walking personal training/human body encyclopaedia.

And I am so happy that he loves to talk and share what he knows, this enabled me to:

1. Be distracted from discomforts whilst exercising

2. Learn soooo much about my body, how my body responds to certain foods and the food my body needs 

3. The different types of exercise that provide maximum benefit for my body.    

One of my first thoughts when I decided I wanted a personal trainer was

 " I wish I could find a personal trainer like the ones the celebrities use"

To me Team Adrian and Suzie are just that and much more.

I would recommend Altered Images to anyone.

Altered Images is not just a gym it is a fitness family.

Big, big thanks. I woke up this morning with that lovely dull aching body, and it reminded me of times when I used to be training regularly and how good that felt! 

Your sessions are great, and I know just after the few we have done, that this is definitely the way to go. Just little things like sharpening up on technique and making sure I'm doing it with good form, these are things that slip when you are on your own.  

In times gone by I used to suffer with feeling tired but I seem to be holding good energy at the moment with the new food system. I'm really looking forward to the up and coming sessions with you and the Soozster!

Having seen a good friend of mine lose weight as well as tone her body, in what seemed like only weeks I was intrigued as to how she had accomplished this. Adrian contacted me and arranged for an initial consultation. This was the key for me as Adrian took the time to listen to what I wanted to achieve. Adrian’s knowledge of nutrition, the human body and how the two interact is quite astonishing. I had been visiting a gym 2/3 times a week before this programme and had been managing to gain weight!! My plan for this was to train longer and harder!! and cut down on my food!! I was already cutting out breakfast missing lunch occasionally! And so on. After the consultation Adrian informed me of my exact weight and body fat percentage (which was off the scale) and where the ideal would be for my age and height etc. Between us we came up with a sensible goal. As a person who enjoys the gym I looked forward to the one to one gym sessions with Adrian. The sessions were well planned in content and never unrealistic, so Adrian’s drive was never to over stretch me and always to ensure I remained un-injured and fit for the next session. He was in total control of sessions and motivated me well throughout every workout. He disciplined me into keeping a food diary which I hated! But Adrian educated me into eating the right food at the right time, with the correct portion size. I needed more support in this area and Adrian gave it to me in heaps! Every time I challenged him around food and drink, he would spend time explaining the detail and implications around my "Greedy thoughts"! This was key to making this programme a lifestyle change rather than another weight loss fad for me. I now train less than I did previously and eat more food! If you are serious about changing your life for a far healthier one than you have currently, then Altered Images is the place for you and it's fantastic value for money. You will not even let yourself down on this programme because Adrian just won’t let you !!

Why did I choose Altered Images; mainly from the recommendation of a friend and a little research. I must say, I was not too convinced, that spending money on a training and fitness programme was going to be the right thing for me. In the past, I had always lost weight dieting. The problem with just dieting was that as soon as I stopped, I started to put the weight back on. To be honest, I have not regretted joining Adrian and Suzie in June 2009. They make a dynamic, formidable and friendly team that are dedicated to their clients. Adrian's knowledge of training techniques is impressive, he has introduced me to weight training, which I had never tried before and surprisingly now enjoy. On the other hand Suzie has introduced me to AIRbiking as both a warm-up and training regime. I wouldn’t say that the training is easy, but the rewards have been good (3 stone down) and well on the way to changing my life. I really look forward to going to the new gym with its modern outlook. When you are working hard it’s far better to have an impressive view of the river than four walls. Unless of course, you are running around the park!! The help and support that Adrian and Suzie have provided has been invaluable.

I would like to thank you for the support and guidance you provided to me during my journey to become fit and healthy. I have never really enjoyed exercise and in terms of diets, I have probably tried them all. With your guidance, support and knowledge, I have been able to make the connection between exercise and diet and have in essence changed my lifestyle approach. As a result, I have lost over 2 stone and dropped 2 dress sizes. I won't say it was easy, but equally it wasn't that hard. Many thanks again for your support.
